Sometimes you want to make a dessert that’s fast and easy and will please a crowd.
And today I have a recipe to share that is all of those things.
And as a bonus you don’t even have to turn on your oven. These are amazing no-bake cookies that are perfect for the holidays. Whip up a batch for neighbors, teachers or family and you will definitely be on the good list this year.
This recipe includes a classic holiday flavor: peppermint
However, don’t let that keep you from making these all year long. These are perfect for anytime.
If you love a good York Peppermint Patty or a Junior Mint- you will definitely love these.
3 oz. softened cream cheese
3. cups powdered sugar
14 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 cup chocolate chips
14 cup butter
2 T. milk
Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and peppermint extract together. If using a Kitchen aid be sure to use your paddle accessory
Once combined and softened begin forming your patty
Take a small scoop and roll into a ball. Line up on a non-greased cookie sheet
Flatten each patty down with either the palm of your hand or use the bottom of a cup or jar
or make into the size of a Junior Mint- it’s up to you!
Chill for at least an hour
Make your chocolate right before you are ready to drizzle on top
Melt chocolate chips, butter and milk together until smooth
Drizzle chocolate over top your mints and let sit for at least 10 minutes
